Materials, Construction, Finishes, and Features That Set Our Work Apart

What makes a TRC cabinet different? Every piece we build is designed with longevity, functionality, and finish in mind, from solid drawer boxes to smooth paint-ready doors. Explore the components that set us apart, and download a quick summary of each for your project planning.

Drawer Box Construction

We build our drawer boxes from ¾” UV-coated birch plywood—no particle board, no shortcuts. This construction not only holds more weight but also holds up longer than traditional dovetail drawers, especially in today’s larger, deeper configurations. We believe in giving customers strength and value where it counts.

Door Styles

From classic 5-piece wood doors to our locally in-house 1-piece MDF (HDF) options, TRC offers an extensive catalog of styles that fit any design aesthetic. We’re the largest producer of 1-piece MDF doors in the area, with over 20 profile options and full customization available.

Finishes

At TRC, we offer a full range of cabinet finishes, including painted, stained, and clear coat options, to help you choose a look that fits your space. We will walk you through how different wood species influence the final color and texture, so you can find the right combination for your style and needs.

All finishes are completed using trusted Sherwin-Williams products, and every panel is sanded to 180-grit for smooth adhesion and long-lasting durability.

Hardware and Accessories

We pair our cabinets with trusted brands like Blum, Berenson, and Rev-A-Shelf to ensure soft-close hinges, sleek handles, and interior functionality that works. From pullouts to spice racks, your cabinets won’t just look good, they’ll work hard.
