Our Products and Cabinet Lines

Our ¾” thick UV-coated birch plywood drawer boxes are far superior to any other drawer out there. Offering a ¾” thick bottom allows for a longer lifespan as well as allowing more weight to be put in them. Dovetail drawers have grown in popularity but typically only come with a ¼” bottom, not allowing for the new need for wider and deeper drawers. Ask yourself, when was the last time you opened a cabinet drawer and said, “Man, I am glad I did dovetail drawers.” Our plywood drawer boxes are not only better, but they also save our customers money and hold up longer than a typical drawer from other manufacturers.

Our endless custom door styles Door Styles are offered both in 5-piece wood grain and 1-piece MDF paint grade. The 5-piece styles have endless options to fit any style and can be made with almost any lumber species you can dream of. We are the largest local 1-piece MDF door manufacturer in the area, offering 22 different styles as well as some custom profiles. Because these doors paint up a lot easier and are much more cost-effective, they are quickly becoming the industry standard among cabinet shops. Don’t let the word “MDF” scare you away, though. We only use the highest quality MDF (technically classified as an HDF) and sand it down to 180-grit sandpaper, allowing great primer adhesion and a perfectly smooth finish! We offer all of our doors to be purchased for refacing projects as well as offered on our frameless and face-frame lines.

We only use the best hardware that continues to prove excellence in the cabinetry field. Blum is a name that most people are familiar with, and we have partnered up with them to provide Blum hinges and drawer fronts in all of our products. Mixing their great products with Rev-A-Shelf allows our customers to not only get all the bells and whistles that they want, but they will know that our product will outstand other cabinet lines inside and out!

By teaming up with Sherwin-Williams, our cabinet finishing far exceeds other shops. From our pre-catalyzed lacquer clear coat right down to our oil-based paints, we have every color that could fit your visual palette.

We provide the highest quality of handles and knobs through a partnership with Berenson Hardware. With thousands of different styles and designs, we can guarantee that you will find something you not only love but that will be the highest quality you could imagine!

Countertops are a 3rd-party option that we offer here. Whether your taste is Cambria or a simple quartz option, we work with some of the best stone and granite shops in the Twin Cities area. If your taste is butcher block or a live-edge bar top, our in-house team can help tackle that option for you as well!

Our Faceframe Cabinet Line—This is our traditional Midwest-style cabinetry utilizing solid wood face frames behind our doors and drawer fronts. While showing more reveal between doors and drawer fronts, it enhances the beauty that comes with the solid wood. This cabinet line is fully customizable and blended with our ¾” thick UV-coated birch plywood drawer boxes and rested with Blum undermount soft-close slides. Because this line of cabinetry has more detail and material involved with the construction of it, the price point lands a bit higher than our other cabinet lines.

Our Frameless Cabinet Line—This is the new age of cabinetry that stems from the “European Style” that is making its way to the US. With narrow gaps and tight seams, it offers a bit more of an elegant touch. Mixed with our ¾” thick UV-coated birch plywood drawer boxes affixed to Blum undermount soft-close slides, this line is both beautiful and clean. Each cabinet ‘opening’ is its own standalone cabinet that attaches to neighboring cabinets using a “barrel-bolt system” that Twin River Cabinets has begun incorporating into their cabinets, making installation of the frameless cabinetry a lot easier on installers. This line is still fully customizable and comes with a friendlier price point than our traditional Faceframe Cabinet Line.

Our Commercial Cabinet Line— Whether you are looking to update your office or salon, our Commercial Cabinet Line is there for all your needs. From standard cabinets to a high-end reception desk, we use only the best laminates and glues. With thousands of laminate styles and designs, this fully customizable cabinet line is best served in retail-style spaces that carry a lot of traffic. This line comes in the same style as our Frameless Cabinet Line but, because of the laminate work, sits with a higher price point than our standard line.

Our Builder Grade Cabinet Line—a “Ready To Assemble” (RTA) style cabinet line that can come already put together or flat stacked for you to save money on by assembling it yourself. This product line is not customizable, but we still offer plenty of style options to fit a wide range of people's tastes and visions. With this line, a contractor or builder must work with us directly, as it is not offered to homeowners directly. The price point for these is the lowest of all our lines, but rest assured, they will still hold up to the test!
